Santa Barbara has lots of beautiful beaches. Some are great for beach volleyball; others offer good surfing; and almost all are perfect for casual hiking or simply relaxing in Santa Barbara's glorious sunshine!

Whale Watching
Santa Barbara is prime territory for whale watching. From January through March, about 28,000 Pacific gray whales pass by; from June through October, blue and humpback whales pass.
