The Experience

the San Rafael Student Home™ only international students live together in
their own house. It’s like a home! Students share their
experience in the USA, learn about other cultures, and make
lifetime friends from all over the world.

The House
The Student Home™ is a beautiful, clean building with 16 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. There are private
and shared bedrooms, a common living room, a second living
room for the girls, a dining room,
a kitchen, a recreation room, a huge yard and many patios. The
house is divided into a male section and a female section.

We have many beautiful bedrooms and different room types:

The Bathrooms
The bathrooms are usually shared by only 2-4 students. All
bathrooms are equipped with showers, sink, toilet and
storage space for personal items. We provide each
student with a fresh towel so you don't need to bring your
own towels. However, please bring your own toiletries
and hair dryer.
Facilities
There are many rooms where students can mingle, study and
relax. There is high-speed Wi-Fi Internet in the
entire house.

We want to ensure that all
students are very safe and secure while at the Student
Home™.
- The San Rafael Student
Home™ is located in a very safe residential area.
- All bedrooms have
locks. Each student receives a key for their own bedroom and
for the outside doors.
- There are exterior lights with motion detectors.
- We have house rules that all students must follow to stay
safe and comfortable.

The San Rafael Student
Home™ is in a very good location in San Rafael (San
Francisco Bay Area):
- it's safe;
- it's very near two big shopping centers (5 minutes
walking) with many stores, restaurants, cafes, banks and a
big cinema;
- it's near Dominican University of San Rafael (5 minutes in
our free shuttle bus);
- it's near downtown (5 minutes in our free shuttle bus).

Transportation
It’s easy to reach all places in San Rafael and the San Francisco Bay
Area!
We have a free shuttle bus to
ELS and
Dominican University, to
College of Marin Indian Valley Campus
(if available), as well as all afternoon to supermarkets,
transit center, and downtown according to student requests -
just tell our driver where you want to go!
And there is a bus stop next to the Student
Home™ so you can easily reach
San Francisco and other nearby
cities.

just north of San Francisco. San Rafael is a beautiful
and rich city of about 50,000 people and many, many
restaurants and cafes. The weather in San Rafael is
very good (much better than the weather in San Francisco).
